Transitional Housing
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development defines
transitional housing as “temporary housing that provides support services
to individuals and families experiencing homelessness with the goal of stability
and support to successfully move into and maintain permanent housing.”
All program participants receive additional services based on their unique needs.

Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. An interview and background check are required. An arrest record does not deny entry into the program. People who have been convicted of a sex-related crime may be eligible; this will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending upon severity of offense after consultation with Parole Officer as applicable. Program participants are required to look for work and obtain employment and be working ~25-30 hours a week. The program fee of $400 month includes a room and access to a food pantry to supplement monthly income.
This is a sober living facility, alcohol and all non-doctor prescribes drugs are not allowed on premises. This will be enforced and monitored as needed including room searches and potential breathalyzer tests. Failure to follow the house rules and program requirements can result in termination of services and loss of housing and services.
